Outstanding performance in sports

4D Chan Chak Kwan represented Hong Kong to take part in The 6th Children of Asia International Sports Games - Athletics (high jump) held in Yakutsk, Russia from 7 to 17 July 2016. He jumped his personal best - 1.93m. He was the 2nd runner up and won a bronze medal for Hong Kong.  From September to December, not only did Chak Kwan win Boys B Grade High Jump Champions in WAC Annual Challenge 2016, TCAA Junior Athletic Championships and SCAA 70th Annual Inter-School Athletic Meet, but he also broke all high jump records in these three competitions. Due to his outstanding performance, he was nominated as an Hong Kong athletic to participating in a 7-day ‘Hong Kong and Sichuan Athlete Exchange Programme’, in which trainings and friendly competitions were held during Christmas holidays at Sichuan Olympic Sports Institute. In the friendly competition with the Sichuan Athletic Team, he won the champion in high jump. He was awarded a ‘First Class Level’ certificate. Thanks to the sharing of Mr. Huang Chang Zhou, the long jump bronze medal winner of 2016 IAAF Athletics World Indoor Championships, Chak Kwan obtained various jumping techniques which is beneficial to his development.

Seasonal Greetings from Alumni Choir

Dear members of Heep Woh family,

Music draws us back to one another after parting ways when we graduated. We are truly grateful that we share a precious common bond through choral music. Even though we all went our separate ways onto further studies or work in different stages of life, we share our joys and sorrows in music. Singing is a magic which lights up our souls and empowers us to touch people’s heart.

This is our aspiration to gather alumni who share common passion for music in the Heep Woh family to experience the joy of music-making together. We warmly welcome music lovers from different years to embark on this fruitful musical journey with us.

The joyous time of Christmas is drawing near. We would love to share with you 3 festive carols that are dear to our hearts, namely “Deck the Halls”, “O Come, All Ye Faithful” and “We’re goin’ up to Bethehem”. Enjoy and wishing you and your family a warm and merry Christmas!

Warmest wishes,

CCCHWC Alumni Choir Committee
